Charming hotel with a great location near the Riverwalk, perfect for walking tours. The plumbing definitely needs attention. Shower water took ages to heat up. The staff was friendly and helpful overall.

I absolutely loved how just a few feet away from the hotel is the River Walk, which made it super easy for me to step out and explore beautiful spots at my own pace, plus the close distance to landmarks like The Alamo and the Aztec Theater, all less than a 20-minute stroll, meant I could soak in the charm of San Antonio without any hassle; my spacious room felt homey and was impeccably clean, complemented by friendly staff who offered great dining recommendations right nearby, but I wish the amenities were a little more extensive to enhance the overall experience.

The staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered. The historic charm and cute patio add unique character to the experience.
Parking costs $20 next door, which feels a bit steep.

Perfect location just a block from the Riverwalk. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom faucet was loose, which was inconvenient. Also, parking costs $20. Great access to walking tours nearby.

I was really frustrated when I got to the hotel only to find out they had canceled my reservation without a heads-up.

The room had a lovely ambiance, but the bed was rock hard, making sleep uncomfortable. The air conditioning struggled to cool the space adequately. Cleanliness was a concern; we found dead cockroaches and grimy carpet in the corners. the staff were friendly and accommodating, facilitating an early check-in for us. Basic amenities were provided, but we had to ask repeatedly for clean glasses and towels. The balcony was spacious and enjoyable, but the noise from the parking garage made relaxation difficult at times. The parking fee was inconsistent with the email.

Location is EXCELLENT for exploring shops and food. The staff is HELPFUL and the atmosphere is INTIMATE.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

the location was fantastic. Being just a block away from the River Walk action was perfect for us. We could hear the excitement while relaxing on the balcony every evening. The staff was also super friendly and helpful, which was a big plus. But, there were definitely some downsides. The AC in our room was a major letdown. We had issues with it not working properly, and despite multiple calls to reception, the problem wasn't resolved satisfactorily. The room itself needed some updates, especially in the bathroom. It was functional but could do with a refresh. Another downside was the lack of room cleaning during our extended stay. We had to deal with our own trash and could have done with some vacuuming. Plus, the size of the room and beds didn't quite match up to our expectations.

Quiet hotel, quiet area with a central location just a short walk from the lively Riverwalk and other attractions like the Alamo and convention center.
All was flawless.

Great location in the heart of the city, close to River Walk. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and any requests easy and smooth. The historic charm of the building added a unique touch to the stay.
The room was disappointing and in poor condition. Outdated decor, noisy appliances, and lack of proper amenities made for an uncomfortable stay.

The location is fantastic, just a block away from the riverwalk with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The balcony adds a nice touch, and I appreciated the peaceful vibe amid all the hustle. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, but the lack of housekeeping was a bummer—having to request fresh towels and deal with trash ourselves after paying a nice sum felt off. The room did have a slight humidity issue, and some decor felt outdated. It's cozy, but it could use some attention to detail.

Well-suited match for a fleeting stay in San Antonio, good value considering price it charged. Excellent location and very clean room.

The location was perfect, just steps from the vibrant Riverwalk! The staff made us feel right at home with their warm welcome. I totally fell in love with the cast-iron claw tub – pure relaxation!
Couldn't recommend more! ❤️✨

The location is fantastic. A quick walk to the River Walk—just far enough for peace but close enough for excitement. The staff? Unquestionably kind and helpful. the experience faltered on many fronts. The room was misleadingly advertised; my “balcony” overlooked a parking lot, not charming views. The decor felt tired, in dire need of updates. One ice machine broken for ages, and no housekeeping service unless requested, which I did not receive. The fire alarm at 2 AM was concerning. the pervasive scent in the lobby was overwhelming. They need to fix the little things. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you seek comfort and restful sleep.

We hit up the coolest spots in SA – the lively bars and the trendy shops were just a hop from our room.
More fun activities to keep us partying all night long would've been epic! .

The hotel's prime downtown location allows for easy access to the vibrant city life and the beautiful River Walk. My room was exceptionally clean, equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, exceeding my expectations. The attentive receptionist shared interesting anecdotes, adding a personal touch to the stay.
The outdated rooms lacked proper maintenance, with issues such as wet carpets, malfunctioning shower heads, and bugs present. The dimly lit lobby and corridors created a lackluster ambiance, especially for solo travelers.

Located minutes from the vibrant Riverwalk, our kids loved exploring the historic King William District.
My wife says that more organized children's activities would enhance the family experience.

Great location near River Walk, friendly staff, free Roku TV, and a sushi restaurant next door.
Felt very special, no reason to complain.
